Summer Camp
Chapman Foundation is planning Summer Camp to celebrate and support students during this difficult time that everyone has endured in recent years. Now, more than ever, it is crucial that we have involvement and support from all our community members. As the population in Greenville continues to grow, so has the number of potential students needing our assistance. With your support, we want to be able to meet their needs. This initiative began in an effort to reinforce literacy, awaken cultural engagement, and explore artistic talents.
Art, Culture, and Literacy have the power to transform entire societies, strengthen local communities, and forge a sense of identity and belonging for people of all ages. As a vector for youth development and civic engagement, culture plays an essential role in promoting sustainable social and economic development for future generations. Youth can act as a bridge between cultures and serve as key agents in promoting appreciation and intercultural understanding.
